Smart Adherence

As children with asthma begin to take on more responsibility for their own care, adherence to maintenance medication often declines.1

The BreatheSmart Platform supports the transfer of asthma management from parents to patients by providing dosing reminders and medication-tracking capability.

Because the shift in responsibility from parent to child puts medication adherence at risk, the transition should happen gradually and parents should resume responsibility if the child is unable to maintain adherence.1
